Plaid is predicted to be a top trend (yet again) in 2017, so what better way to incorporate it into your wardrobe than by adding a transitional piece that works for both cold & warm weather? When I saw this plaid wrap skirt I knew I had to have it. Since our weather is still so up & down here in Houston, transitional pieces make a lot of sense at the moment. On a day its warmer (like the day we shot this outfit) I can wear this plaid skirt with bare legs, but on a chilly day I can easily throw black tights underneath it or wear my black suede over the knee boots.

This jacket is also worth mentioning because this particular style is definitely the jacket of the season. It’s a nod to the Acne Velocite jacket but even cooler with the brown/black combo (and for a fraction of the price). What are some of your favorite fashion trends/pieces at the moment?
