I’m so excited to be sharing another home update with you guys this week! We have been working hard and things are moving along surprisingly fast. After buying our new home in Dallas, the next step was finding an interior designer to work with. The decision was easy if you ask me! Meet our designer, Blythe of Rodi Custom Homes.

Rodi Custom Homes is a Dallas based design duo (husband and wife), Blythe and Jacob Poe. He is the construction expert and she is the design maven. They’re equally as talented as they are a good looking pair. And don’t let their young age fool you. They have years of experience and are extremely talented as a whole!

My decision was partially easy because Blythe has been a friend of mine for years and I already loved following the amazing home renovations on her Instagram. The aesthetic she is known for is exactly what we are looking to achieve in our new home, so this was a no-brainer!

It was really important to me that our designer gave us guidance throughout the renovation process, but also made this a true collaborative effort. I needed a design expert that would help me think outside of the box while also listening to my ideas as well. Working with Blythe has been all of this and more! She is a total dream — aside from her beautiful looks, her personality is so warm, her taste is impeccable, and she gets shit done.

I’m so excited about all of the ideas we have come up with and can’t wait to share more of our home design process with you guys! We are doing one room at a time and transforming the space, but you know i’ll be documenting every step of the way.
