Every once in a while I like to get out of my (casual tomboy style) comfort zone to try something new. And when you have the opportunity to wear an insanely dreamy embellished maxi dress like this one, you do it. I’m super excited to be partnering up with Urban Outfitters to bring y’all this very different look today. Can you believe we shot this in the city of Houston? Only Bri Costello could make the city look like we were out in the desert.
This embellished maxi dress is seriously a dream and belongs in every girls closet. I mean, it’s one of those pieces that you would keep and pass down to your daughter some day. It can be worn as a swim coverup, but it would also be really pretty for a bride’s rehearsal dinner dress if you’re getting married at the beach (obviously you wouldn’t wear it with a bodysuit/swimsuit underneath, but a fitted slip dress like this one would work perfectly).

Urban Outfitters selection of maxi dresses for Spring/Summer is insane right now! There are so many on my list, but I couldn’t pass this one up. I am wearing an XS here for size reference. If you are a bustier woman I would recommend sizing up. Oh and fair warning…these WILL sell like hot cakes and won’t be made again, so if you’re wanting the dress I would get it while you can!
