I’ve been engaged for 4 months now and I’m finally ready to start the planning process! To kick things off, I’ve partnered with a few brands to share the excitement of being engaged with all you other bride-to-be’s 🙂 Here are 5 bridal essentials to start planning your big day:
1. CHAMPAGNE – obviously most important…get the champagne flowing, I’m engaged and it’s time to start planning my wedding day!! Pouring myself a glass of this Cinzano Italian sparkling wine not only for celebratory reasons, but also because I know it’s going to keep me sane throughout this planning process. 2. BRIDES MAGAZINE – In my opinion, there’s no better place to gather inspiration for your wedding day than bridal magazines! Am I the only one that has been picking Bride’s magazine up off the shelf for years now, just to day dream? Well now that a wedding is actually in the near future, I’m pulling so many ideas from this magazine and realizing exactly how much there really is ahead. I could look forever!! I honestly have had no idea where to start because my ideas are all over the place, but I’m ripping pages out of magazines for dress ideas, wedding ring band, venue, florals, honeymoon, etc! 3. HAIR REMOVAL – Who wants to be worrying about hair on your legs, face, bikini line, etc before a big event…especially your wedding day! Well at least for me, that’s the last thing I want to be worrying about. I’m getting ahead of the game by using these Nair wax strips for at-home hair removal on my bikini line & upper lip. The results last up to 8 weeks — I just tried it for the first time a week ago and so far so good!
4. SOMETHING BLUE – you know the saying…”something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” How cute is this tanzanite bracelet? It’s so affordable and also comes in different carat sizes if you want to make more of a statement! I personally love how dainty and simple the design is on this one, but they have a wide variety of tanzanite pieces at Diamonds International that are also great options for your ‘something blue’.
5. SHAPEWEAR – One of the first things we think about as a bride is our dress…am I right? Everyone wants to look their best and feel confident in their wedding dress! Even after all the workouts and crazy wedding diets, sometimes the shapewear just smooths it all out and enhances our figure.
