It’s no secret that I love distressed denim. 99% of the time I’d rather purchase a pair of jeans with holes rather than ones without. Older people always ask me that ridiculous question, “did you pay for those holes?”….absolutely, I did.

Denim is one of my most coveted sections of my wardrobe (second to shoes) because they’re my comfort zone. For me, it’s part of my go-to look I discussed in this recent post. I RARELY get rid of my denim, because I know at some point they’ll be used again. Hang on to your denim, TRUST. There are 3 things I love most in a good pair of distressed denim; soft hand, a little stretch, & good holes. The next best thing? When your denim purchase doesn’t break the bank. I typically buy designer denim (only because my hips/legs are not proportional to standard sizing & they just seem to fit me better) but I recently bought these (under $70/selling out quick) for spring/summer because I have them in black (worn in this post) and I’m obsessed. The ones I’m wearing above cost me a pretty penny, but I’ve had them for 2.5 years now and worn them a million times (so obviously they’re worth it). My next two purchases will be these & these!

P.S. If you’re wanting the same look for an even more affordable price ($24-$50 range), there’s tons of good options here 🙂

Happy St.Patty’s Day y’all!!
