My Quarantine Binge-Worthy Shows

8 binge worthy shows to watch during quarantine

It seems like we’re all spending a bit more time at home recently. Whether you’re quarantining or hiding inside from the heat, this list of 8 binge-worthy shows can help you pass the time. Kyle and I really like crime/drama shows… as you may notice.

Where to Watch: Netflix
Kingdom actually came out in 2017, so this is not a new show but it just resurfaced after becoming available on Netflix. The scenes are intense, as the story line involves a dad that owns an mma fighting gym. His two sons are fighters and one really struggles to stay on the right path in his personal life. The acting in this one is great!!

Where to Watch: Netflix
This one is mind blowing and not at all what you would think by reading the title. Don’t F*** with Cats is a documentary-style series showing the progression of catching a mysterious cat killer that evolves into something much greater. I couldn’t believe what I was watching (and also had to turn away from the TV at times), but I also couldn’t stop.

Where to Watch: Netflix
If you haven’t heard of Joe Exoctic or Carol Baskin, it’s time for you to watch Tiger King. This series is nothing short of entertaining; leaving you shocked and intrigued at the same time. This is another documentary-style series following tiger trainers/keepers here in America.

Where to Watch: Apple TV+
If you’re a crime junkie like myself, this is a great story about a shocking murder that rocks a small town. The assistant district attorney, who is also the father of the boy being accused, is then conflicted between defending his son and his duty to uphold the law. Such a great performance by Chris Evans!

Where to Watch: Hulu
Killing Eve is one of the most fun drama series to watch. This series stars Sandra Oh, as Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer as Villanelle. Eve is a spy who is bored with the day-to-day office life. When she becomes aware of Villanelle, a talented and twisted killer, Eve’s life becomes nothing short of boring. The writers make you fall in love with Villanelle, even though she is a stone-cold killer. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and thoroughly entertained. Beware… watching this will give you the itch to travel.

Where to Watch: Netflix
I don’t even know where to begin with this documentary. I’m sure by now, you’ve heard of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was found dead in his jail cell back in 2019. This documentary takes you inside the bizarre story of how Jeffrey Epstein came about; then dives into the tragic story of him victimizing innocent young women. Warning, it can be hard to watch at times. However, definitely worth watching to educate yourself on this topic that is much greater than Epstein’s story.

Where to Watch: Netflix
We watched Season 3 during quarantine, but if you haven’t started this series from the beginning you must watch! The first season was definitely my favorite. A story about a family that fails to deliver a money laundering scheme for the Mexican Drug Cartel. To make up for it, they relocate and attempt to make amends by creating a bigger laundering operation at Lake of the Ozarks. It stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

Where to Watch: Dirty Money
This is a great ongoing series that covers various crimes/schemes that have received big attention. They are quick, 1 hour long episodes, with a beginning and end. A great show to watch if you just want something quick!

Hope this list of binge-worthy shows is helpful the next time you’re in a bind. I’d love to hear some of your favorite shows you have recently binge watched in the comments below!
