Can’t move on in my feed without recapping so many special Christmas moments + sharing some post-holiday, sappy revelations with you🎄✨ — I know I’m late to sharing, but I’m okay with that & hope you are, too !!

As 2024 was coming to an end, I started to reflect on the past year + changes I want to make in 2025. I’ve always disliked the phone attachment we all have inevitably succumbed to and the pressure to immediately respond or post in the moment ….which is kind of the nature of my job, so it’s a constant challenge for me. But something kept telling me more than ever that time is so precious & fleeting. That my children are growing so quickly and we will never get these moments back. No one had to remind me, it wasn’t a social media post that sparked this…I just felt it.

Capri & Knox were at such a peak age this Christmas — to be so full of joy, excited about the story of Jesus’ birth, no longer afraid of Santa & asking all the questions about him, absolutely thrilled about any Christmas event/activity, understanding & valuing the importance of family time during the holidays. It was incredible.

And so I followed my heart — put my phone down when I wasn’t fulfilling pre-committed work obligations. I said “yes” every time my kids asked me to play with them, to dance & take silly pictures with them, to any Christmas activity or idea they had, to all of the things that can be so draining as a parent while you are simultaneously preparing/checking everything off your list before the big day.

I may be sharing weeks later, but because of this — I started 2025 feeling so fulfilled….knowing that I gave my kids & family every ounce of me being “present” that I could to make it special for all. It may have taken them being back to school this week for me to recover (lol), but it sure was worth it!

Here’s to me posting when I want in 2025 😂 and not feeling the need to be “on” ALL the time — on my phone, on-call for emails/texts, on Instagram, etc…because some things can wait & some are moments you will miss otherwise! And if you made it this far in my sappy novel, ilysm and THANK YOU for being here 🙏🏼🫶🏼 #Christmas24

Who says s’mores have to be just an outdoor treat? 🍪🥛🍫 The weather here in Dallas is slowly dropping which means more cozy evenings indoors with the kids. Thanks to @reliantenergy, we can enjoy special moments like this from the comfort of our home! Now that winter virus season is upon us, I can’t let this time pass without reiterating the importance of educating yourself as a parent about respiratory syncytial virus (#RSV). As many of you know, both of my kids were diagnosed with RSV in 2022. This was hands down the scariest thing we have experienced as parents — and at the time, there were no preventative options available for a broad population of babies! The good news is that now we have Beyfortus (nirsevimab-alip) 50mg and 100mg injection available. #SanofiSponsored

Recently I had the honor of visiting NYC to “Join BeyForces” and speak on a panel with @shawnjohnson (who is amazing btw), sharing our family’s story and connecting with other amazing moms of little ones! Being surrounded by so many amazing creators, some of whom are in the medical field, was both inspiring and empowering.

The scariest part of RSV for me is that, while uncommon, it can turn from cold-like symptoms to hospitalization in less than a week. It’s unpredictable, and I would hate for other parents to be unaware (like we were) about this virus.

New and expecting parents can act now by discussing Beyfortus with their pediatrician or OBGYN and visiting Beyfortus.com for additional information. #BeforeRSV

Beyfortus is a prescription medicine used to help prevent a serious lung disease caused by RSV in newborns and babies under 1 born during or entering their first RSV season, and children up to 24 months who remain at risk of severe RSV disease through their second RSV season.

Beyfortus may not protect all children.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Your child should not take Beyfortus if your child has a history of serious allergic reactions to nirsevimab-alip or any of the
ingredients in Beyfortus.
