I’m not sure what it is about velvet, but I have developed a serious obsession. I can’t seem to go shopping (online or in-store) without grabbing something… VELVET! There are times I tell myself I’ve gone completely overboard, but I just could not pass up on this velvet military blazer. The structure, gold trim & button details, and dark colored green velvet are everything. You get the luxe look and feel with an affordable high-street price tag…which I’m always about.

A velvet military blazer was another item on my wish list for Fall/Winter 2016 because I saw so many of my favorite designers (like Saint Laurent, Burberry & Balmain) showcasing jackets of this sort during Fashion Week. I had my eye on this one Ralph Lauren military jacket and will probably still get it to be honest, but this green one is so chic and classic.
