About a week ago we went to the Dallas Arboretum and loved every minute of it!! This was only the second time I’ve been there in my adult life (we used to go as a family when I was little) and it was such a perfect day 🙂 The only thing that would have made it better was if I brought food + wine for a picnic in the grass. Did you know you could bring your own food/beverages into the park? I didn’t know that!! If you choose not to they have this delicious restaurant called Restaurant DeGolyer and a few mini bars spread out through the property to get drinks & food. Talk about a beautiful place for a wedding + reception! I’ve heard you have to make a reservation far in advance to eat at the restaurant and the venue is booked up for almost a year ahead of time (just FYI if you’re wedding planning)! The scenery is breathtaking at the Dallas Arboretum and the photo opportunities are endless.

We saw a ton of people out there taking senior pictures and family photos! The weather was amazing and I was in heaven. Kyle was teasing me at one point because every 5 minutes I would say, “omg I am just in heaven. I love flowers!!” and he was like, “wait…do you love flowers?” Anyhow, I loved just walking around and taking in the fresh smell.

This dress is perfect for a spring/summer day — another airy floral shift dress haha surprise surprise! It’s under $70 though and the fit is so flattering. I am wearing an XS here for size reference (I’m usually a small so I would recommend sizing down).
