A solid pop of color is one of my all time favorite trends. It just never gets old. And neither do black & white checkered pieces. These shorts are a great investment piece because they are a perfect transtion piece for fall. You can be easy-summer-breezy by pairing it with a silk tank like I did here AND you can wear them this fall/winter with black tights/hose underneath + a white sweater + leather moto jacket + my favorite Stuart Weitzman black over the knee boots (from last season = one of my best purchases ever).

Speaking of fall/winter, I’m ready for it to be here NOW (over this heat..and nothing I love more than layering up). Not to mention..September will be my first time ever at Fashion Week!! My flight + hotel are booked and I’m ready to go! (…I’d start packing already if that didn’t make me totally insane). Until then..I have lots of exciting giveaways coming up.
