Happy Cinco De Mayo!! I love this holiday because I’ll take any excuse to have a marg at 5 o’clock 🙂 Here is a look we shot last Sunday while running around town and I feel like it’s very cinco de mayo-ish! As many of you know, one of the hottest trends this Spring has been off the shoulder pieces. Some of them are a bit too far on the girly side for my style, but I could’t help jumping on board when I saw this yellow embroidered off the shoulder top. It matched perfectly with the yellow in my new Chloe lace-up sandals and I thought this color just screamed Spring/Summer!
I love that you can wear this top up over your shoulders or off the shoulder depending on the occasion. I definitely noticed though when wearing it off the shoulder it was extremely flattering on the neckline, as most off the shoulder tops/dresses are. What do you think about the off the shoulder trend?
Side note: I get asked so often about where to buy vintage Levi 501’s like I’m wearing in the above look…I have purchased all of my vintage Levi’s from Urban Outfitters. The trick is searching by ‘Urban Renewal’ rather than Levi’s because that is their recycled line that they distress themselves. Hope that helps answer some of your questions!
