I know I’ve dissappeared for the last week so I apologize, but hopefully replacing ‘Throw It Together Thursday’s’ post with this one will make up for it 🙂
Anybody else ready for sweater weather? As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I couldn’t be more excited for the fall weather (and wardrobe). I live in the South, so
after ridiculously hot summers we’re ready for some cool weather! I think this outfit is a great transition-to-fall outfit. It’s not time to jump into my favorite fall outfit (sweaters & jeans) yet, but just cool enough to throw on a simple sweater like this super cozy one by Sanctuary. It’s not that itchy wool fabric, which I loooove because wool and even sometimes cashmere sweaters have me feeling so uncomfortable! This sweater is the perfect weight and easy to wear with any color cutoff jean shorts (we all own million pairs from summer). My new Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel bag (obsessed) and my favorite Jeffrey Campbell slashed booties gave this look just the right amount of edge I am always looking for! Don’t try to get too matchy matchy. Don’t get me wrong, I love ALL black everything. Shoes, purse, hat, clothing, etc…but sometimes breaking your look up with nuetrals that vary in color can be a great thing. What are some of your favorite sweaters at the moment? I have my eye on a few and I am sharing them with you below! Enjoy 🙂
SO glad I found you through instagram! Your style rocks – love this outfit 🙂 Especially that hat!
