Cricket. You know, like the sport that people in Europe play? Well that’s about as far as my knowledge goes on this topic. I don’t understand the game nor do I get the fun of it, but obviously it’s entertaining to many! For now, I’ll skip trying to comprehend the sport itself and admire this amazing cricket sweater by Tommy Hilfiger.

Preppy sweaters are probably not the first thing that would draw my attention in a store, but this Tommy Hilfiger one caught my eye. I love the bright color contrast of the collar and cuffs because it adds the perfect amount of classy flare. I also love the incorporation of black in it’s stripes, because one of my favorite things to do with a preppy piece like this is to offset them with just the right amount of edge. I’d say these black distressed shorts by One Teaspoon (my fave for summer) + backpack combo help do the trick! An easy versatile piece that can be worn with by itself,  with a collared button down underneath, tied around your waist or shoulders….heels/no heels? Shorts/ jeans? Thrown over a romper? The options are endless (and it’s on SALE).
