If theres’s something I’ve learned to fully embraced in my closet, it’s definitely sweaters. For the longest time I didn’t like wearing sweaters because I thought they were all itchy and too bulky/thick. Usually I would opt for a coat & multiple layers to keep warm in the past, but after building up a collection over the last few years, I have a nice little sweater section in my closet. I now have a decent mix of both high and low end sweaters, but regardless of the cost there’s something so chic & classic about a sweater. Right now I’m particularly into the mock neck sweater because I think it adds such a chic flare to any look and the hair tuck is an added bonus 😉

I recently got this soft mock neck sweater from American Eagle Outfitters and I’m obsessed. Their prices are always so reasonable and

the material of their sweaters are SO soft. I love that this one is open knit so that you have breathing room…and if your temperatures are anything like they are still here in Texas, you would appreciate too. This color gray is so versatile and can be worn with practically anything. Typically I would pair a mock neck sweater with some skinny jeans & heels/booties or boyfriend jeans & sneakers like I did in this past post. Since Texas can’t decide if it’s Summer or Fall yet, I threw it over my t-shirt dress before dinner for the cooler evening and went for an all-gray-everything look.
