Triple Lipid Restorative Protocol Facial with Skinceuticals

I started experimenting with SkinCeuticals back in September after my visit to their PR team’s showroom and I’ve truly seen a huge change in my skin. My two favorite products from the line are C E Ferulic  & Phyto Corrective Gel (which I have shared a number of times on my IG stories skincare routine). So you can imagine how excited I was when they asked me to come try the Triple Lipid Restorative Protocol facial. Are you kidding? Yes, please!!

A few weeks back I got the best facial ever at a local Medspa called Bellaire Dermatology. It was the Triple Lipid Protocol Facial and they customized it for my skin using all SkinCeuticals products. YOU GUYS…when I say life changing, I mean LIFE.CHANGING. I truly felt so refreshed afterwards and my skin was absolutely glowing. I most definitely want to do one of these right before my wedding, so my face is plump and dewy. Instead of relaxing during the facial, I was asking my technician a million questions. I geek out about this kind of stuff and looove hearing exactly what each product does. So, here’s the breakdown of what they used and the order they went in.

P.S. This treatment is supposed to help replenish, restore, and maintain lost skin hydration. It also improves the appearance of rough texture, dehydration lines, and radiance, while renewing skin elasticity. If you need any of these things — this facial is for you!

Here’s the breakdown:

Cleanse // She started by cleansing my face with the SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser to remove any makeup and oils.

Tone // Then she used the SkinCeuticals Equalizing Toner to balance + restore the skin’s protective pH mantle and remove residue.  I have never been good about using a toner but this is an important step! It’s vital for tightening pores as well.

Exfoliate // The best part about this facial is that they customize it to your specific skin type. She asked if I wanted to do a chemical peel during the exfoliating process since my skin was handling the prior steps well. She assured me that I wouldn’t have any downtime since this was a micro-peel, so I of course said YES! Then with a fan brush, she applied a thin coat of the Micropeel 20 Solution. This only stays on for around 5 minutes!  If you have more sensitive skin, there’s a more gentle option too. The chemical peel helps with uneven skin tone (something I always struggle with), frequency of acne breakouts, reduces signs of photo aging, and fine lines and wrinkles.

Extract // My favorite part of any facial! I told her to be aggressive and get everything out she could, especially around my nose where my pores are larger.

Sanitize // Then she applied the SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel, a cucumber and thyme soothing gel which helps calm and hydrate skin. This feels really good after the tingling from the chemical peel!!

Masque // Next was the Vitamin C Firming Mask that she left on for 5 minutes and my skin immediately felt SO soft and dewy. You can also do this at home on a weekly basis!

Prevent //  Then the C E Ferulic (one of my favorite products I’ve been using from the line). This is a daytime vitamin C serum that provides advanced environmental protection and helps tremendously with firmness and brightening! We were laughing because we both think this product has a distinct smell , but it’s SO worth it.

Hydrate // A generous layer of the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 anti-aging cream was then applied to refill cellular lipids and nourish my dry skin. This was perfect because with it being the Winter season my face has been super dry! She left this on for about 10 minutes and then removed it with a warm towel.

Correct //  I was already feeling refreshed and amazing at this point, but she topped of the hydration portion of the facial with  SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex eye cream + SkinCeuticals Antioxidant Lip Repair.

Protect //  And lastly she finished with the most important  part — SkinCeuticals Sunscreen. She told me if you do anything for skin on a consistent basis, WEAR SUNSCREEN (at least SPF 50+) every single day.

The whole facial took about 90 minutes. Most of it was very relaxing but we spent our time chatting with Kristin and felt like we were BFF’s after the treatment. They were so nice, down to earth, and realistic about everything in terms of taking care of your skin at home. I highly recommend this treatment and will definitely be going back for another!
