Our Save The Dates

It’s been a while since my last Wedding Wednesday post and I just want to apologize for that. I have been SO SWAMPED with life lately! Work is non-stop, we’ve been traveling, planning a wedding, and this weekend will be my 10th weekend in a row not sleeping in my own bed!

…but that’s not what this post is about. This post is about our Save the Dates! We sent them out about a month ago since our wedding falls on a holiday weekend and we wanted to give our guests a solid heads up!

I looked at a handful of places for our Save the Dates and didn’t like what I was seeing. I felt like everything I halfway liked had been done before. I mean, we have like 18 on our fridge right now and the majority of them look the same! I knew I wanted simple and modern, but I wanted them to look & feel like nice quality. While searching on Papier.com I found multiple options I loved!! It actually made it hard to decide once I made it on to their website. I was torn between these options: 1, 2, 3.

Here is what we decided on….

I have been obsessed with letter press business cards for years now and thought it would be cool to do something in the heavy paper like that for our Save the Dates. The one we ultimately went with reminded me of a polaroid in the heavy paper — it was perfect! They came neatly packaged and envelopes were included, so that was a nice bonus.

After sending these out I got great feedback from people saying these were their favorite save the dates they’ve ever gotten. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I would like to the say the same myself! We decided to do it in color instead of B&W and I’m so glad we did. How do y’all think they turned out?

XO.

P.S. there is A LOT more wedding content to come soon, so be patient with me and stay tuned!!
