This is what I like to call an ‘Off Duty’ look — your go-to outfit when you have nowhere to be/nothing to do. If I didn’t have to leave my hotel room and bare the freezing temps, rest assured I would’ve stay in my PJ’s…but it was our only day off in NYC, so we took full advantage of it. And by full advantage I mean bottomless brunch with new Dallas blogger friends of Selah and Sam, roaming the streets or NYC, shopping, and doing everything we could to stay warm while doing so!

When I have nowhere important to be & I’m not taking blog photos, my every day look is pretty simple. I totally believe less is MORE (…well not always, but here yes).  In true tomboy fashion– jeans + basic tee +comfortable shoes = my go-to (I had to swap my tee for a sweater here because it was FREEZING cold). Something easy to throw on, comfortable, and doesn’t take a lot of thought. I hoard basic items in my closet because I know I will get the most use out of them! Oh, and anything soft or cozy…I can’t resist.

P.S.Did I mention how cold it was during NYFW?? I couldn’t feel my face while shooting these photos!!!!

What is your go-to off duty look? I would love to hear, please share in the comments below! XO.
