If you haven’t already fallen in love with Self Portrait, leave it to this floral applique dress to do the convincing. I love the consistent mix of feminine & masculine elements throughout their collections, but I couldn’t pass up this flirty floral number.The mesh insets paired with my blue metallic gucci bag and metallic oxford sneakers (under $40) gives this dress the perfect amount of edge I needed. I wore this to the Self Portrait presentation, ShopStyle event, and the Banana Republic presentation on day 3 of NYFW. Since they were close in proximity it was great for a day spent walking & hopping from one place to another on the streets of NYC. However, this would be great for a bridal shower, wedding guest dress, or any other special occasion. Because I still consider Self Portrait to be a hidden gem designer, this is one of those standout dresses you can be sure no one will show up wearing the same thing you are 😉
