NYFW Diary Part 1: US OPEN

Some of you may or may not know this about me, but my boyfriend is a tennis player, my dad grew up playing tennis (was a baller), and my mom still plays on a daily basis…my family loves tennis to say the least and I’ve grown to love it even more after watching my boyfriend play so often and understanding more about the game.

It’s been a dream of my moms ever since she started playing to attend a match at Arthur Ashe Stadium and be fully submerged in the US Open atmosphere. For her birthay this year, my dad got her tickets and it just so happened to fall right at the time of Fashion Week (super convenient) so my sister and I got to tag along!

We got to see Victoria Azarenka play in the morning and then also the afternoon men’s quarterfinal match with Wawrinka vs. Nishikori. It was pretty awesome to see Nishikori win this match because it was the first time a Japanese man had made it past the quarter finals since the 1930’s or something crazy like that! It was the looooooongest day ever, but so worth it.

Tomorrow I’m sharing a fun look from my first ever New York Fashion Week show and will share the rest of my iphone NYFW diary throughout the week. As always, thanks for reading! Comments below are always welcome 🙂

XOX,

Sage

How fun! I’m obsessed with your US Open outfit, even more obsessed with that black romper! Where is that from? I think I need it!
