Learning to Rework Your Wardrobe: Grey Tiered Sweater Dress

Learning to rework your wardrobe and wear things from one season to another is a struggle (I think) we all face. If I’m being completely transparent, this has always been a challenge for me and something I constantly try to work on. If you’ve been following my blog or Instagram for a while now, you will know this is obvious because I rarely repeat outfits other than bags, shoes, or jewelry.  Part of this is because in my efforts to be better about reworking my wardrobe, I am purchasing less, making my closet more curated, and investing in more classic pieces that I know are going to last.

Since the fashion world is constantly evolving & changing, it’s easy for us to always want the next seasons trendiest piece, but that’s not always realistic and sometimes what you’re looking for is already sitting right there in your closet. That’s how I feel about this grey tiered sweater dress (under $70)….

We’ve had warm days, chilly nights, and some VERY HOT days that this sweater dress just wouldn’t work for….but some of this Springs biggest trends are statement sleeves, ruffles, and texture. As I was surfing the web for a spring dress that fit these trends, I realized what I was searching for was already in my closet. I posted this grey tiered sweater dress to Instagram a while back, but now that it’s back in stock I figured it was time to finally share this full look on my blog! I would still wear this with my flat Stuart Weitzman 50/50 leather over the knee boots, but I would also wear them with a pair of fun sneakers like these or these. This dress is made of a sweater material, but its SO SOFT and still a great length for Spring.
