Hi everyone! Some of you were asking if I could make a post of each individual outfit from my feature on Inspired by This. I was planning to do so already, I just needed to wait for the feature to be posted first on IBT! So here are the deets from this particular look, which is probably my favorite of them all. If you read any of the feature, you know I’m not a fan of boring and my #1 must have in an outfit is comfort.
I’ve always been such a tomboy…no like, I think I wanted to be one of the guys and it was just not okay. I can remember my sister having a talk with me when I was in 6th grade and she was in 8th grade (at the same school) — she told me I needed to start wearing skirts and dresses because it was totally embarassing that I wore my cowboys jersey and spandex biker shorts to school all the time (thank God for sisters). Although I finally came into my own, I still have major attachment issues to this sort of look. It’s usually my easy go-to because it’s so effortless to put together and gives a cool vibe in my opinion. I love the laid-back-cool-chic look, so I’m always working to perfect it. The older I get the more attracted I am to simple pieces. This Dry Clean Only top designed by Sincerely Jules (available exclusively at Piperlime) is easily one of my favorite graphic tees at the moment. I also have this & this by the same label and they are the coziest tees you’ve ever felt! [[ I’m wearing an XS for sizing reference]]
I’m settled in back at home in Dallas and ready for a fun weekend! Hope you have something fun planned, enjoy 🙂
