What a week it has been here in Houston, TX! With hurricane Harvey taking our city by storm (literally), it has been incredibly heartbreaking to witness the damages first hand. We are considering ourselves extremely lucky to have avoided any home damage, but my heart & prayers go out to all Houstonians that have sadly experienced the opposite. Thank you so much to all of you that have reached out to check on us and make sure we were safe during the storm. Your love & support means everything to me!

This black choker mini set is so much more than I expected. Usually the saying goes, “you buy cheap, you buy often” ….but not in this case. I couldn’t believe it was only $54 so I took a chance on ordering it, but was a little nervous until I got it in the mail. The material feels expensive and the fabric makes for a surprisingly amazing fit! I love that each of the pieces (choker + cropped tank + mini skirt) are all separates, so you can wear them individually as well. If you’re uncomfortable with showing this much skin, you could easily drape a silky kimono over your shoulders to keep the look chic & sexy.
Also — how amazing are these emerald green satin mules?! They’re so dang comfortable and the perfect pop of color for this all black look. Emerald green is going to be huge for fall, so I had to snag this pair! Definitely taking these babies with me to NYFW next week 🙂
